Physical Therapist Opportunities at St. Peter's Hospital, Helena, MT

We have a full-time Physical Therapist opening (30 hours/wk) in our Outpatient Rehab Department as well as part-time (20 hours/wk) at our Rehab Clinic at Capital City Health Club!  Helena is full of natural beauty, surrounded by lakes and mountains.  Helena has been awarded Best Little Art Town in the Western US and St. Peter's Joint Commission certified hospital and has won many accolades and distinguished awards.  Come join us and work with a team of outstanding professionals in one of the last best places. 

The Rehab Department Physical Therapist will work out of the hospital Rehab Department.  Pelvic floor dysfunction training and experience is needed. This position would see a mix of PT outpatients in addition to pelvic floor dysfunction. Mon-Fri somewhat flexible schedule.  Must enjoy working in a team environment and have excellent clinical and customer service skills.  Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The staff therapist coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff ( PTA, PT tech, etc.). The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines. Ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs. Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or graduate of accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy. Current State Physical Therapy Licensure. Current BCLS (CPR) certification required. 
The Capital City Health Club Physical Therapist will be an outpatient PT in an orthopedic/sport rehabilitation PT clinic setting. Must enjoy working with a team and have excellent customer service skills. Orthopedic or manual specialist preferred.  Must enjoy working in a team environment. Enjoy a great setting with lots of treatment equipment options including aquatic therapy.  Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
